Whatever you do, your first session is free. After your first session, you can pay what you want to get more coaching sessions and a personalized financial plan. We’ll give you a suggested price, but you’re the sole decision maker on how much you actually pay. Our price suggestion is based on how many sessions your coach recommends for your goals and situation. The range starts at $30 and ends at $199. We believe you’re going to love coaching, so we want you to pay whatever you believe the service is worth.

When will I be charged?

You’ll be charged the price you choose if you decide to continue beyond the free intro session, before your coach and expert team create your plan for you.

How many sessions do I get?

It depends on your situation! Just remember—the number of sessions isn’t as important as you might think. In our testing, we’ve found the magic number of sessions that works for different situations so that our coaches and experts can deliver a fantastic action plan without overwhelming your schedule.

Is there anything you don’t cover?

We aren’t wealth managers, so we don't invest your money for you or provide advice on specific securities (like individual stocks or bonds) to invest in. We also don’t give legal, credit repair, debt management, or tax advice. What we will do is educate you on the investment landscape so you can make informed decisions.

Who are your coaches and certified financial experts?

Our Mint coaches are habit pros, ready to help you get to the “why” of your financial goals to help you achieve them quickly. They work with our number-crunching team of financial experts to come up with a plan that adds up and that you’re excited to make progress on. We only hire coaches and experts who are vetted by the leading governing bodies in their respective fields. For coaches, that means a certification or credential from the International Coaching Federation, or ICF. For financial experts, a range of credentials including CFP®, CPA and AIC.

Do I have to do a video session or can I do a call instead?

We encourage virtually meeting face-to-face to build that personal, trusting relationship with your coach—that’s what brings you the best results! But if you prefer to chat via another method, our coaches are happy to connect in any way that makes you feel most comfortable. Just let them know after you schedule up your first session.
